Anyone know which DOHC VTEC had this valve cover in USDM or JDM land?

 

92-93 GSR? not entirely sure.

 

I got one of those off of a 1G B16A. That doesnt mean much though.

 

i looks JDM to me from the JDM header bbehind the heat sheild.....

 

Acura covers dont have "H" emblem

Its definately not a 92-93 GSR valve cover. All Gen2 and Gen3 GSRs have the same valve cover. It looks like a B16a valve cover. I believe both JDM and USDM b16s use the same valve cover.

This isn't a VTEC Del Sol cover either, must be a JDM B16A (old school) valve cover.

 

Whats with people never grounding them right?

What is the "proper" way to ground them?

 

to move the ground wire 1 "nut" over.

 

Thats a Del Sol DOHC VTEC cover.. I used to have it..

the 2nd one i bought and had painted to match(these are both from my old Si).. pretty sure the 2nd came off a del sol.. notice that the b16a2 cover only says "HONDA", not "Honda Motor Company"..

 

Is this the DEL SOL VTEC you were talking about?

 

hmm.. despite my last post.. that b16a1 in the del sol in your picture only has honda written below the on the valve cover as well.. now i'm confused..

JDM B18C are same as US B16A

It's from a 1st gen. JDM B16A for crying out loud!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

US spec B16's i.e. SI's or Del-Sol's.

JDM have the "VTEC" bigger than the "DOHC" letters.

 

Yet more blocks grounded incorrectly

It fits all the characteristics of a 88-91 JDM B16 valve cover...

except it's clean.
