i have a turbo that came on a car, it's marked TDO4 on the compressor housing, a shop around here said it was a 16g, but i don't think it is. am i wrong?

That should be a 14b turbo off of a 1g DSM eclipse, laser, or talon. I'm not sure if those were 16g though. Maybe try askin around on DSMTalk.com.

 

thanks, i was almost certian it wasn't a 16g those are TDO5's. the 1g dsm's come with either 13 or 14b's. i ask cause i am gonna get one as a winter car, and i am trying to see what it has on it.

Its not a 14b either.. the tdo5 was the 14b and came on the manual tranny cars.. the tdo4 is even smaller yet.. and came on the automatic cars. The 16g is also a td05 but the didn't come on any cars here in the states.
