Default Bittersweet New P/B at Cosmo-Motors Shootout

Been Battling the stock trans war for the passed year my 4 door EG has been together. Got ahold of a gearbox late last year that didn't quite do the trick so made the switch to G-force for the Cosmo-motors Shootout at Farmington. Finally got one decent pass in during testing before qualifying and was stoked. Break down was-
1.57 60 ft
4.38 330
6.49@115 1/8

Was extremely ecstatic as the car has never really made a full pass and looking at logs we knew there was much more in the car as it sat as I baby shifted 1-2(8200), 2-3(8400), got the limiter in 3rd and barely rolled into 4th in the 1/8.

Came in for first qualifyer feeling great about the car. Car felt great off the launch and the 1-2 shift. Went for 3rd and ended the day with a good ol fashion 1-2-1. Sadly, a broken oil pump and probably much more kept us from making 2nd qualifyer. Tried another oil pump to make elims but backed out after the water box as I wasn't Comfortable with the car. Hope to tear it down and be back out for the June event.

Set up is as follows
RLZ built 2.0 LSVTEC
Gforce Trans
Web Turbo 2 Cams
S368
Inline Pro Intake/Edelbrock 75mm TB
Dss 3.9's
Comp twin disc
Old Revhard intercooler core with my endtanks
Kingpin outlaw front bearing kit
BlueRidge twin 44 Topmount

It was good to see this thing make a decent pass. Maybe that 1-2-1 is the end of your bad luck streak. Give me a ring when your ready to tear into it. You know im game to help get this thing back track worthy

Sorry about the 1-2-1 shift David, that really sucks... Congrats on the new personal best though!

I did the 121 back in spring of '10. Not a great time.

No fun for sure. Had a gforce shifter sitting on the bench in the shop, just not enough time to set it up before the race. It will be going in before the car goes back out.
