I have replaced thermostat, radiator, and have had head gaskets, water pump and timing belt all checked by a mechanic and they said they are good... fans both work but car still wants to run hot. Once hot it cools when i let off gas then gradually climbs sitting still and when i take off again it jumps then cools. I am at a loss for what it is any takers???

 

Idle the car with the radiator cap off and rev it to see if coolant bubbles shoot out of the cap.

 

Is that to check for air in the system? If so the mechanic has gone through the process to get the air out already

 

No, you're checking the head gasket for coolant leaks.

But if you don't want ideas, you shouldn't be coming here for help. Just have your mechanic find the problem.

 

If you want to give ideas maybe you should read in the original post the head gaskets have already been checked...

 

If he was a legitimate mechanic he would have fixed the issue by now...

Did you try the rad cap thing, though?!
