Default confused on mpfi wiring

I'm did a mpfi swap on my 91 civic dx using 89 crx hf intake/ecu/distributor its running okay but has a code 8 which is tdc sensor I think
I wasn't sure what to do with the wire thats was in b12 its a white/red stripe and I just taped it off. Is that right? Also do I let a3 and a7 stay disconected?(these are original dx wires)

C2 was moved to b12 and you just left the original b12 hanging? That should be fine.

You will need a new distributor to get rid of that TDC code. Also try a PM6 or PR4 ecu instead. The HF ecu only has a 5k redline.

Also, I'm noticing a few walk-throughs are missing the TPS wire flip.
If you haven't already, make sure you flip the locations of the two outer wires on the TPS.

Yeah I knew that but I didn't know the plugs are different so at first I wired the crx plug on with wires switched then read about the mpfi tps plugs already switched wires so put them color to color

How do u tell which white wire on the distributor is the bigger one they look the same? I put the stock dpfi plug on dist side(left mpfi plug for the 2 blue wires) and might have the white ones mixed up could that cause a code 8?

if you have the 2 white wires switched, it won't even start - if it runs, you have them correct
