Got a 97 accord which was in the beginning phase of overheating. I decided to replace the thermostat and water outlet gasket plus clean my throttle body. I followed of few of the DIY such as https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-accord-1990-2002-2/cleaning-iacv-fitv-tb-1844067/ and https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-accord-1990-2002-2/5th-gen-radiator-thermostat-install-how-2576131/
Instructions were pretty simple to follow, so that wasn't the problem.
I'll explain the entire story as not to confuse you guys/gals so it'll make it easier to help diagnoise the problem(s). I'll keep it simple and short though.
I first removed the upper radiator hose, removed/replaced the water outlet gasket near the ECT sensor. I then removed the air filter top housing, hose and unplugged the MAP sensor. Decided to clean the throttle body with the correct cleaner. I also cleaned the inside of it by opening the throttle plate. I proceeded to removed the lower radiator hose, unplugged the unknown sensor near it and took off the bracket holding some harness nearby. Pop out the old thermostat and gasket and replaced with a new one. Reverse the removal process and got everything back to tip top shape. Added the necessary fuilds back(yes I flushed out the old fuild) and turned the key but now the car won't start. I double checked all my work and I can't seem to find where the problem lies. I made sure all my sensors are plugged back on. Was it something to do with cleaning the throttle plate as I was spraying inside it? Or was there something else? Anyone with a better understanding could maybe chime in on this. Thanks in advance. I would really appreciate it.
EDIT: I figured it out. Flooded the throttle body such a noob I am
