IPG are a very good company to do business with I have had 100% success dealing with them over many years.
You cant go wrong with phearable.net or Xenocron as well great companies for deals on great products.

I have had an Omni on my own car now for about 6 months, No issues at all. As stated great bang for the buck.

Does the TPS stay in spec with the Omni?

I know the Blox has alot more travel which puts the TPS over 5V and throws a code. And no way to adjust this (no adjustment)

It should i know i just bolted mine on in the middle and adjusted it in the S300, I'm at -2% an 102%. However this is alot of room for adjustment either way.

Yes, i know you can adjust the TPS... But the Throttle travel goes beyong the TPS's limits as WOT goes past the 5v threshold which throws a code.

I have tried to adjust TPS for the extra travel of the throttle and theres no adjustable "throttle stop" at WOT to keep the TPS in spec.

Soooo, I was wondering if the Omni either has travel that syncs with the TPS or is adjustable to keep in TPS spec.

the 2mm won't make a difference. Its like splitting hairs. We've done plenty of LS/VTEC setups at 81mm for the 70mm Skunk2 Alpha TBs. They work fine for NA no problem.

Okey that means i can use a bigger TB without problems on the stock engine without resulting that maybe its breathing more than he can afford ??

70 mm is good to go with an all motor setup

70mm can work. But the question is whether or not you plan to build the rest of the engine around it, so that the throttle body can take full advantage of it. If this is really for just having some nice new parts for a good OEM VTEC engine, its best to just stick with a Type R sized TB or slightly larger like a 66mm from Professional Products, Skunk2 Alpha, or the like.

However, if you really plan to do more work later, and this is just one part for the grand scheme of things, then yes, the 70mm with work to your advantage.

I hope that clarifies my point.

thanks for your advice , to be exact i am planning in putting some more bolt on parts like an plm rmf replica header , intake manifold ( skunk2/Blox) i already have a CC clutch kit in it basically some external mods , with that can i use the 70mm throttle body or do i need to use a smaller one??

Also check out Maxbore.com you send him your OEM tb and he can bore and taper then. He will readjust the tps back to OEM specs before sending it back to you.

i had my type r tb sent to maxbore to get bored out, from 62mm to 65mm. if your wanting to keep your oem tb and want for mm's, this is a good choice. only problem i had with maxbore is the lack of communication. other than that, fast turn around time.

why have a stock body coned out , when you can just pickup an omni TB for like 60-70$ shipped for a 68mm and it looks factory.? albeit it costs more for the maxbore.

in the end, its still not worth a "cone" job. for roughly the same price, your getting a true 68mm throttle body. Mine works great, and I have no issues with it whatsoever. and I paid 65$ shipped. no downtime with it either or the hassle of getting a spare to ship out.
