Default B20 rough start

So I just got a pretty fresh b20 vtec built but I'm having a weird problem starting it! I have spark and fuel, I turn the key and here the fuel pump and I have good fuel pressure on my gauge! But my wideband just leans right out! Like full into the red and as I try to start it I got nothing! I checkt my spark plugs then and they have a bit of gas on them? I'm also running just a stock p28 till it gets tuned, any ideas why it gets so lean and floods it self????

Check:

- Timing Belt Installation
- Valve Lash
- Spark plug condition

What camshafts are you running?

Ah, running rich. You need a proper bade map to get you to the tuner.

Advice is don't run your motor on a stock ECU. You are hurting your cylinder walls by "washing" it down with excess fuel and resultant soot and unburnt fuel.

One option is to have a competent tuner write a base map for you so you can drive it to the tuner. Otherwise, hang tight and two your car the the tuner.
