Hi I have a auto 2002 accord that is having some issues. In first off the line she is fine but then going into second if on it at all she will rev about a thousand rpm over before grabbing. Its not all the time but frequent. Does anyone know if the tranny is looking for a rebuild or is their something that could be adjusted. It seems to only want to do this from first to second.

 

Had a friends accord do this. Your tranny is on its way out.

 

Tranny is about to die. Question, how many miles? I4 or V6?

 

I just bought the car so I don’t know the true mileage on the tranny. It’s the four cylinder. It’s only happening in second gear?

 

Sorry the car has 160,000 on it and I’m assuming that the tranny is the same. I also just found out that the tranny is leaking. I checked the level and it seems ok though.
