Default H22 Swap Type SH

this is a dumb question but will any 97-01 H22A/H22A4 work as a direct replacement? i need to replace my motor only, should be able to keep the harnesses, ECU, etc from my current motor as they're fine...just wondering what to be looking for exactly as some H22s i've seen have stated they will not work with a Type SH...
