Default hondata s100 ??

ok I have been reading up on diff software and I have always seemed to like s100 (for basic app). However I talk to a few ppl and the majority seem to say its trash. Why is this considered trash? I am not doing turbo, not doing stupid Na build, just a basic bolt on GsR w/ cams. I have read on other software and not really liking some of what they offer or features. Maybe someone can shed light on something I am missing on other software. I do not have an issue with money so plz don't make the argument its free software.

so maybe some of the tunners on here can explain pro's and con's to hondata and others that are out there I am not seeing in other threads

Man. If it has the features you need and it will do what you want just get it. It's old and extremely outdated but what does that matter if you don't need all the bells and whistles?

well that was my line of thinking it does everything I will need for this motor/swap/upgrades. I was wondering if there was a down side why ppl call it trash. I mean I will NOT be playing with setup at all myself It will be a tuner and tuner only to adjust/tune on

Difference between the systems:

Most tuning shop's won't tune s100 or s200 systems anymore because they don't have the software or hardware to do it.

Crome and Uberdata are less buggy and more advanced than the s100 - and that's saying a lot. Moreover, there's zero chance you'll even be able to burn the chip or connect to a romulator through Romeditor since the software was basically abolished from the internet and is no longer supported whatsoever. It's literally garbage.
Search the forums for Crome vs. Neptune vs. Hondata vs. ECtune and you'll get your answers.
