I work at a mechanic shop and the owner thought that I was such a hard worker that he would fix my car for free. The mechanic found out that when I had taken off the thermostat housing I was also disconnecting the igniter ground connected to it. With that back in, it started. He then ordered me a new thermostat because the gasket was bad on the old one. They put it in, filled and bled the system and took it for a drive. No more overheating! Got it all done for free!!
