I have a PLM header but bought a logic to fit right and work well with AC

 

Hi,

I bought a PLM TRI-Y big tube header and was told it would fit just right. On receiving it realized that it fouls with both the AC as well as the radiator fan.

Am stuck with it as shipping it back to the US will cost almost the same as the product itself not that they offered to replace the product.

Am copy pasting their email reply to me which is self explanatory.

after talking to my tech guy, it seems like the big tube header will not fit with ac because the newer versions we couldn't angle the piping without disturbing the flow of it.

I would usually recommend for you to send it back to me then I would send another header. But in this situation it wouldn't be practical because you are out of the country. I would recommend selling the header then I would sell you another header at a discounted price compared to shipping it back and forth."

Sorry to hear your situation, the header that i whant is the short tube, i have to be very sure what i whant for aboit a situation like yours because i Also live outside the US, im from the dominican republic. Thanks for share your experience.

 

I will love to buy a logic high end but they havent in stock, do you experiment a big trouble with the fit or any other issue with the a/c, notice that i have a slim fan and both headers look very similar.

 

my mechanic had to modify the ac lines and weld them up. It's not easy, but the logic will fit so that the compressor fits in just fine
