I just bought my wife a 93 DX.
This car is intended for daily use.
I need a power steering pump and reservoir.
It normally comes with it but I bought it without it.
I will be pulling this part from a junk yard civic, and installing it in mine.
I'd like a walk-through or a link to a walk-through or video from someone who has done this before if possible, thanks and i appreciate any advice.

 

Are you trying to add power steering? I'm sure you need more than that.

 

it had power steering. i bought it without the pump (meaning someone took it out for parts)

 

So whats the issue? Putting on the PS pump and res is childs play. You will also need a PS belt. Go to junk yard find Civic look to see what your's is missing and get what you need and install on your car.

 

I would agree that there shouldn't be a problem If it was originally so equipped just source the missing parts and install them.

 

go to a local parts shop and see if they sell the haynes manual for your car if you want a how to on the simple stuff
