When replacing a torn cv boot I highly recommend purchasing the OEM boot. I couldn't get the spindle nut loose, so I tried to go the least amount of work and time route and bought a universal cv boot. Time wise, you have to wait hours for the adhesive to dry when putting the universal cv together before it even goes on the car. They are also prone to bust at the seams since there are two of them running along the entire length of the boot. Either way you're packing grease so just go OEM and get the original cv boot. No universal CV Boots for me please.
