p1768 tranny code
Car info first
I have a 2000 civic ex auto,I had to replace the Tranny due to the last owner driving over a curb and cracking the transmission housing. I didn't notice if there was a code before the replacement or not. I know the new Trans was from a 96 and was in good working order before being swapped for a manual Trans. After putting the new Trans in the D4 light was on right away. After the install I found out my buddy who helped with the install never filled the torque converter before installing in the Trans. I checked the thought the flow chart from alldata and I come up with nothing. My question is can I get this code from a low fluid level? IM topping off fluid now and probably going to recheck the flow chart to make sure I didn't miss anything. Any help would be great

If the transmission happened to come from anything but an EX you'll get codes, but it shouldn't throw a P1768. Did you try swapping out the linear solenoid over from the old transmission?
