Default Hello everyone

Hello everyone Sickprelude here i am building a h23a motor i was wondering what would be the best setup for this type of motor. the motor am running has only 60,000 miles on it i want it to run like a beast but don't know which road i should take with the build. i really don't want to turbo is but it could be a option i would really like to do all motor. i am trying to do a sick *** motor im really trying to stay away from going into the motor with rods and cams and stuff but just looking for some opinions thats all just need some help. Trying to get at lease 220hp out of it

Engine bay mods

Cold air intake
Sway bar
9.5 mm wires
3" catback piping
apexi n1 muffler system

WHAT IM LOOKING INTO GETTING SO FAR!!!!!!!!!!!

if your looking to build a, "sick *** motor" then you might want to play with internal if not youll just have a full bolt-on motor, but either way the h23a is pretty stout and can hold its own.

if its the h23a blue top im sure a really good tune with what you already have will put down some pretty decent numbers.

Lots of power and cheap don't go together my friend

Stop wasting money on bolt ons...unless it is a power proven part (which nothing you have listed is)
Only thing you got thus far that is even beneficial to the motor is the 3" piping. What is the outlet diameter of the pacesetter header you want to get?
A different intake manifold isn't going to do squat, as well as the 9.5mm wires. All overkill and pointless.
Saving a little money for a valvetrain and cam upgrade would trump all this other stuff you have listed.

Keep money aside for the tune, that's a must. But, save from there.

A sick motor doesn't come from cheap upgrades like a pacesetter header....

Talley up the money you have spent so far and the money you plan on the next upgrades you have listed.
Then look up prices for valvesprings, retainers, and cams.
100% guaranteed you will make well over quadrouple the horsepower from cams then those silly boltons.

How much power do you think you are going to make from a crappy header, a cold air intake and intake manifold?

Don't believe companies marketing hypes about "Instant horsepower gains"...it's all bs

Read through the faq in the all motor section and get familiar

"building" a motor isn't bolting things on either.

everyone chill out. Sickprelude92 if you want to build a motor is going to cost ou money for internals and tuning if you want to do it correct. If you are choosing not to open the motor itself than your only opinions are nitrous and turbo. You will not be spending so much to do a basic nitrous setup as you would for turbo. That would be my suggestion.
