Default What other Distributor shafts fits the H22A

OK my h22a obd1 Distributor shaft is bad. So I need to replace it, well they don't sell those parts at a parts store. So I had and extra dizzy from an f22. The F22 shaft fit perfet on the H22A dizzy with no problems, but when the engine is on TDC the rotor doesn't point to cil #1 it points a lil bit up. But when I put the h22 shaft it does point to cil#1. So I learn parts may fit but they dont function the same. Does anyone knows what other dizzy shaft fits and works on the H22A. I would like to buy a new one but I don't have like 400$ to buy one. Good there's a lot of Honda's at the local yunkyard. Oh its an internal coil dizzy

You can find one on ebay for around a hundred. It's the td60u. You can probably find someone in the marketplace that has a Honda h22 distributor for sale.

Tanks but the reason I ask if anyone knows what other shafts fits like (b16 b18 b20 Zc d15 d16 ) is because I can get a dizzy for like 25$ at a local yard. I guess I'm gonna have to figure out my self.

Might want to have a look at a H23 dohc non-vtec distributor if you're at a junkyard.

tbh I'm curious how that other shaft isn't working. I would think they would be the same assuming it's a Honda shaft and not an aftermarket distributor..best thing to do if you're trying to save money is go to a junkyard and pull some distributors and test the shafts...this assumes nobody knows the answer to your question

Today I try the H23 shaft and has the same angle as the f22, so its not gonna work

The f22 shaft and the h23 shaft have the same angle, but they both have different angle as the h22, when the h22 shaft its pointing to piston #1 the other 2 shafts (f22/h23) are pointing a lil bit up. When everything is on tdc. Saturday is my day off so ill be visiting the yunkyard.

Ok I see what you're saying now it's all about where cylinder one starts on the cap. I think an accord 90-93 should work. Try it next time.
