Default Singal & double exhaust???

I want to buy a HKS Hi-PWR exhaust for my S2K...my frds suggest me to put a Spoon N1 or ApExi N1...i know the sounds from Spoon N1 is very loud and nice but the Spoon N1 looks really ugly to put on a S2K><I heard that singal muffler has a better preformance. Ture? i go for the HKS one...is it a right choice?I am so confusing which one i should put...***...
Also, tell me more about the differents between singal and double exhaust...thx

They're all single exhausts. The stock S2K is single exhaust, but dual outlet(mufflers). It depends on what you're looking for. All of the N1 exhausts will give you better performance, but if you don't plan on buying too many other mods in the future, the difference between dual and single is almost nothing. If you plan on going with intake/headers/ecu/cams/whatever, then the N1 exhaust will give you max horsepower. If you just want an exhaust to look and sound better, go with the HKS.

I have yet to see any exhaust make power on a S2000. ANY EXHAUST, single or Dual. Just buy the one with the look and sound you enjoy.

If you are looking at exhaust I doubt you are racing, but some of the singles will save significant weight. What you might consider though, is having a local muffler shop put together an exhaust for your car. You'll save big $$$ on something you don't need to spend money on.
