Default 01 h22 turbo upgrade

Hello there. I'm new to this site so this is my first post. I am entertaining the idea of doing a full turbo kit upgrade to my lude. My question is what parts do I start with buying? I have found a few kits online but not sure what I need and don't need out of these kits. Or would it be better to buy piece by piece, if so what should I buy to do a basic upgrade? I'm new to the turbo scene. Not sure what I need. Please help. Thank you.

the best way would to buy peice by peice. usually turbo "kits" arent all that inpressive and youll find your self replacing things sooner then you would think. the biggest thing you can do is research and read, ALOT. get on preludezone or preludepower and check out some turbo build threads on there. im sure that could help you some.

h22s can only handle about 8 pounds of boost with a stock motor. if you want to run more you have to sleeve it. be smart on what you buy and how you tune it.

This is exactly the kind of information people have to stop posting. "Only 8 psi then you have to sleeve it." completely false.

how about you get a clue and stop spreading the blatantly ignorant and false information like this that's running rampant on the internet?
