Ground wire (g201) location ? ELD issue
there is no voltage between the terminals(thing in the fuse box) but there is when used against the body ground. anyone know what they mean by G201 ? is that the term for body gound ?? i have no clue what it means....i've been using a test light for the first steps if that matters
side note:my batt and vc and possibly chasis ground(under the batt tray right ?) all have paint where the ground touches should i take a wire brush(on a drill) and sand it off so it's metal to metal.

You're welcome, and good luck! You have quite a bit of work ahead of you!
I'm a little lazy so personally I'd just run a new ground wire rather than tear apart all that looking for an opening.
Lol your a sweetheart for that. Did you record that or did you find it. Also if your gonna repair. First check both ends for damage or poor connection . You can see even in the vid that lug seems to take some serious corrosion. Also you can do some halfsplitting. Check continuity between the pin in the connector and ground. If that's bad then check continuity from the lug on 201 to the pin. If that's good, its a poor connection to ground. Then get a small sewing pin ( smaller the better) and locate about halfway on the wire push the pin through the insulation then check continuity from that pin to each end. Whichever side doesn't have continuity is the side that's damaged. Then repeat at some point in the middle of the side that was bad until the side that was good becomes the bad one. The break is between that point and the previous one. You should always have a good side and a bad one. If you have 2 bad sides you may not be getting a good connection with the pin. This will save you from having to yank everything and completely undo the wire loom. Just check at points that are easily accessible. Make sure to use as small a pin as possible. It does do damage to the insulation if its old and brittle. It won't damage the wire if you don't force it all the way through. You'll be able to feel when it makes contact with the wires inside.

Well I figured I could spend 10 minutes trying to explain how to find it or I could spend 1 minute making a video. This is the smart phone era its not like it was that hard to do plus you have helped me solve quite a few of my issues and I know from your recent posts that you are going through a heap of problems with your car right now so I wanted to do my part to contribute.
Glad I was able to help.
Glad I was able to help.

And why of all things to take with it did it take VTEC !
feels like im driving an ls with bolt on's slow AF

Get a cheap multimeter its worth the money in any case. When I say pin I mean the sewing needle, I said connector pin but I meant the contact surface in the connector. If you do as I said before in easily accessable places, it will let you know about where the break is which may save you from removing everything. First things first tho, take the connector where the ground wire is and attach a new wire from that to a good ground. See if your problem goes away. No point in locating a bad spot in a wire if it's not the problem.

have a mulitmeter just needs a 9V
Cut into the ground wire near the plug and attach another ground wire to the plug and run that wire to a good known ground. If that doesn't fix the problem, then the ground wire isn't the issue.
Update ELD is now off(fixed)
