OBD2a ECU in OBD2b car..... Need some help por favor
Im doing a B20 swap in a 2001 Integra GSR Shell (Dont ask... I had the shell already, lol)
My major concern is getting this thing ready for Smog testing and I would like to use an OBD2b ecu to match the chassis... BUT the immobilizer issue has me a bit worried. If I remove it, the CEL might cause me to fail, so would it be possible to use an OBD2a ecu... Would I need a conversion harness, or is it just a few wires that need to be rewired? Or I was reading about dummy immobilizer chips for the OBD2b ecu. Can I just plug one in, or must I solder it in?
Anyone with some experience doing this before?

So further research says that I need an OBD2b ECU... So I guess I have to deal with removing the immobilizer and getting a dummy one installed. Any advice? or writeups about this?
