You'll save a little money if you prepay ( $5/$10 bucks you save) but this is more so to see who is entered to compete and to get a list going. A) True Street 62mm SFWD- Sponsored by "RCAutoworks" This class will only run May 19th, 2013 at this time

Heads-Up, Pro-tree (.400) class open to FWD sport compact vehicles only. Must run 12.99 or quicker using qualifying to fill a 16 car sportsman ladder. Two qualifying passes permitted. Class Requirements: (Same rules as FWD Nationals 62mm True Street SFWD). All vehicles must conform with general NHRA safety rules. No Minimum weight. Engine swaps (e.g.,B series with B series) permitted; however OEM mounting points must be utilized. Engine swap (e.g., B series to a K series) permitted provided engine swap kits are commercially available and approved in advance. Engine must be from same manufacturer as body. Engine must be overhead cam, production based design. Maximum 2 power adders. Any race gasoline (E85, Q16, VP import, ETC.) permitted. E98 is permitted. Methanol is not allowed. Restricted to a single turbocharger. Turbocharger must utilize a turbine housing inlet flange commonly referred to as the T04. Limited to a maximum 62.8 mm turbo. Turbochargers are measured at the inducer wheel where the leading edge of the inducer wheel meets the housing. CO2 or NOS is permitted as a cooling medium in place of water in liquid intercooler. NOS may NOT be used in the engine. Suspension must maintain original factory configuration and wheelie bars are prohibited. OEM chassis, with complete OEM floorpan and firewall mandatory. Wheel tubs, backhalf conversions, tube chassis, etc. prohibited. Must retain FWD configuration; rear drive conversions prohibited. Engine must be located in OEM location for body used. Non OEM tubing in front of firewall prohibited except to tie shock towers to roll cage. All tires are checked by sidewall designation. FWD: Maximum size slick or DOT bias ply tire is 25.0” x 9.5”. Complete interior, including: dashboard, door panels, headliner, carpeting, etc mandatory from the front seat(s) forward. Interior panels behind the front seats are optional. Only 1 seat required, must be upholstered. Factory controls for lights and windows must be retained and operative. Body must be on accepted bodies list. Pickups and SUVs prohibited. Mild customizing and body kits permitted but must retain full bodied appearance with minimum 2 functional doors. Chopped roofs prohibited. Hood scoops or openings permitted. Doors must open and close from inside and outside. Windshield and all windows must retain OEM safety glass. No lexan permitted. Lightweight body panels limited to hood, fenders and deck lid. Aftermarket body kits permitted but full street legal appearance must be maintained. One peice aftermarket front end prohibited. JoJo/CFT/Exospeed 3 piece front ends allowed. Complete OEM firewall mandatory. Mini tubbing prohibited OEM floorpan, front to rear, mandatory. Both taillights and at least 1 headlight mandatory. Must be operative. Complete OEM windshield and windows mandatory. Windows must be operative per factory specifications. (Must open and close via electrical or OEM mechanical means.) Tow vehicles prohibited.

THE SECOND IMPORT WARS OF 2013 IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER. THIS MONTH WE WILL HAVE TWO NEW CLASSES ADDED TO THE PROGRAM ("BUILD A CLASS") IN ADDITION TO QUICK 8, QUICK 16 AND SUPER MOD. THESE CLASSES ARE: ALL MOTOR SPORT (SPONSORED BY PRO FUNCTION AUTOMOTIVE AND DRIVERS IMAGE) AND 62MM SFWD (SPONSORED BY RC AUTOWORKS AND ILL GARAGE). BOTH CLASSES WILL BE HEADS UP. THESE CLASSES WILL NOT BE COMPETING FOR POINTS AT THIS TIME (SEE CLASSES AND RULES FOR DETAILS). FOR THOSE RACERS COMPETING FOR POINTS IN THE QUICK 16 CLASS, MAKE SURE TO LET THE PEOPLE AT THE FRONT GATE KNOW THAT YOU ALREADY HAVE A NUMBER OR GIVE THEM YOUR NAME AND THEY WILL BE ABLE TO FIND THE NUMBER FOR YOU. IF YOU ARE RUNING IN ANOTHER CLASS OTHER THAN PRO RWD, Q8 & Q16, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO EARN POINTS IN THE CLASS, HOWEVER, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO RACE ON TWO DIFFERENT CLASSES IF YOU CHOOSE TO DO SO BY PAYING THE ADDITIONAL ENTRY FEE TO THAT CLASS. THE CARSHOW WILL BE HELD INSIDE THE PIT AREA IN FRONT OF THE "PAVILION". CARSHOW PARTICIPANTS WILL BE ABLE TO FUN RACE AT NO EXTRA CHARGE AFTER 3PM AS LONG AS THEY ARE REGISTERED BEFORE 12:30PM. SPECTATORS WILL BE ALLOWED TO PARK INSIDE THE MAIN GATE, BUT MUST PARK IN DESIGNATED AREAS ONLY. MEDIA COVERAGE FOR THIS EVENT WILL BE PROVIDED BY WWW.XTREMEDRAGPHOTO.COM. THE FIRST ROUND BETWEEN THESE TWO WILL HAPPEN SATURDAY MAY 18TH AT GLD'S NITROUS STREET CAR BRAWL AND THE LAST ROUNDS WILL HAPPEN AT IMPORT WARS SUNDAY MAY 19TH. Does anyone know if they are having the SFWD Midwest Nationals event this year? I thought they had it posted to be later in the fall, and now I can't seem to find anything about it.
