radiator fan not working?
fan is running direct to ignition source, till i can figure why its not working like it should. check fuses, power going to fuses, relay, power going to sensor. all checks out. only think i havens changed is the sensor, is there a way to check the sensor b4 i spend the money?
The fan switch is on the thermostat housing, it is a ground signal ON type activation. You can simply use a paperclip to jump across the fan switch connector to test the fan. If it does not come on; you have another electrical problem. Good luck, and wire it right or your fan will probably burn out in a couple months.
oddly enough try placing a long wrench on top of the fan motor and lightly but firmly smack the wrench with a small hammer. mine sometimes wants to run slowly but never wants to shut off unless car is. 93 civic d15b7. it might just be the fan motor. but that right now is the least of my worries lol

got same problem. I check the fuses and relays, everything working. put a jumper the fan works. put a brand new thermostat and fan switch, still not working. Temp went to H since fan is not working, put a jumper to turn on the fan, the temp went down. what else do i need to check??? thanks
I change the coolant temp sensor, fan still not working. I had the timing belt and water pump replaced by a mechanic, he can't make the fan work too. i give up, im planning to just put a switch for the fan, so i can just turn it on from there once the temp goes up.
