Tail lights...
First off, I have used the search....but found nothing with my same issue.
Left side, only the left side is having the issue. tail light / side marker not working in rear.
Brake / blinker / reverse light works.
All other lights on the car work.
Dash lights are good.
Bulbs are not blown.
Ideas?

In Washington there's a lot of humidity. This causes a lot of corrosion on electrical terminals.
I would say corrosion in the bulb socket or wiring harness
Edit:read closer- wiring harness(meaning damage to)

FOUND IT. The white plug behind the cover. Remove the 4 plasic screw things, and then rmove the back plastic trim. Then you'll see the white plug. I honestly giggled mine around and now it's working. A temp fix until I can dig into cleaing it up / repalcing a ground.
Hmm sounds like corrosion. I lived there for 5yrs and I remember having multiple issues w/lights and electrical bugs from all the rain and moisture. Use dielectric grease on everything electrcal there. It creates a barrier the water can't get through.

I lived in the Longview area for 4yrs, then moved to Olympia for the last year. Its a little too good-ole-boy for me up there. I definitely preferred the college town/city area.
You might be able to use silicone for some of your more permanent connections. I do miss the scenery, the desert is just a dust bowl. Zona BUYS water from other states lol. Its like Mexico down here...close the border, enough is enough.

The ground is common for the left and right sides, [unlike in the front] so if one side is working properly, grounding is not the issue.
Corrosion is most likely the problem, easy fix...
Onplug the connector, spray WD40, [or any penetrating oil] into plug and socket, plug and unplug it a few times, clean up excess and plug back in, do the same on the other side as it is most likely also corroded.
For extra protection, pick up a tube of dielectric grease for extra protection...
