safelite is one of the bigger names for auto glass, i think they're more expensive than the smaller guys too.. so expect to pay more hefty prices. but i think they have a warranty with their work. so it might be worth it if you can afford their prices OP
Not all insurance is created equal. Mine, for example, has a $150 co-pay for glass replacements. The replacement, done by Safelite, only took about 2 hours, and cost $175 out of pocket. This was on a 98. I don't see the price getting much different.

its because i am about to buy a hatch and it has a cracked windshield guy said cant be repaired needs a new one. so thats why i am asking how much it cost to see if i can negotiate price more
