The Issue-
No Spark

What is known-
Engine cranks
Fuel pressure is good
Spark plugs, ICM, Coil,Main relay, Cap and rotor all new purchased the day after the no spark.
The ground wires coming from the engine harness that ground to the driver side of the plenum was loose and discovered a week after no spark.
Gauge light Illuminate like normal with CEL on due to a faulty IACV.


I checked everything it could be that came to mind like ICM which I replaced, Internal Coil Replaced, rotor and cap replaced, main relay replaced, spark plugs replaced. I have done all of this and nothing changed I haven't found any bad fuses either. the only lights that show on start up are all doors open, and CEL the CEL is for bad IACV. My fear is that when my ground for the PCM engine harness came loose from the driver side plenum it cooked the PCM. Please help need my car back up so I can work.

 

sorry you are not getting any responses. Wondering if getting a distributor from a junk yard would be worth trying. there are a bunch of smart folks on this site so hopefully someone will chime in.

 

The best thing to do is to pull the ecu and inspect the inside of it and see if anything looks burned. You should check the fuses again. I've had this happen before and my ecu (15A) fuse was blown.

Just want to be sure..you're sure no spark or just weak spark ? Just want to clarify fully.
