Some questions regarding my friends car (gsr swapped eg sedan inside)
The setup:
JDM B18c
GSR Trans (no lsd)
Skunk2 Intake Manifold
Phearable 70mm TB
Tri-Y Header
Cold Air Intake
s300 (Tuned)
The best pass in this car is a 14.7@96.22mph. It has a pretty decent trap speed, given what mods it has I believe anyways haha. Do you feel it's at its limits MPH wise, the car makes right around 180whp. Our local track has this thing called the 100mph club and he is wanting to join it, just not sure he can pick up 4mph without adding more power. We have thought about putting 13" steelies in the rear to free up some rotational mass.
The car is on 22x8x15 MT's, he has been playing around with tire pressure. On the 14.7 pass it was at 11psi and launching at 3800rpms. Should we raise the 2 step up and let it come out of the hole harder? Also with his 2 step being on an all motor car, is there any advantage to changing the timing/fuel enrichment that there is with a turbo car? If so, where should each be set at?

i had the same exact set up in a 2300lb car making 181/136 and went 13.9 @ 98 with a 2.1 60' on 205 bfg's launching at 5500
idk too much about 22" slick tire pressure but set the launch control to around 6 and just slip the clutch at wot during the launch. 100mph is pushing it in a 4 door

Yeah we raised 2 step to 5500, gonna try it on the slicks again this week. Played with 2 step settings and have it hitting quicker, we'll see if it makes any difference.
