Yeah, newbie question, I know. I a first gen B16A with the Y1 tranny (cable) in my CRX. How is hydraulic different and what makes it better? TIA

1 - I just searched, and there is a TON of information available.

2 - You cannot put a Hydraulic tranny in your CRX, you don't have a clutch master cylinder, and/or slave cylinder.


There is no better tranny. Cable trannys use a cable, and Hydraulic trannys use hydraulic pressure to disengage the clutch.
