i see everyone using oem ITR 22mm sway bars with a custom mounting kit that requires drilling (unless im mistaken about the drilling, let me know). is this sway bar better than any other aftermarket swaybar for any reason? i would rather use an aftermarket swaybar made for the gsr, i.e. progress or ST, so i wouldn't have to use a custom mounting kit, unless the performance difference is astronomical. please let me know your opinions.
It was worth the drilling for the ITR rear bar. For the price, best bar you can get. If you would like to spend more, get an aftermarket bar that does excaty what the ITR rear bar does.
I understand your drilling concerns, but getting bars like ST and others well, I don't know it kinda useless if you ask me. My bro got the ST bar for his prelude and had a hell of a time with the bar hitting his exhaust.
Believe us you will not be disappointes drilling some holes into your subframe if you get the ITR bar's and BSQ kit.

I bought everything on the BSQ website along with new endlink collar bushings (about $16 more and I could have used the orginal ones) and the total came out to 120 bucks. Not bad at all!

Do a search on the ITR rear swaybar. You will be shocked to see how many people on H-T have done the swap.

http://www.ahmotor.com has everything you'll need. It comes out to about $102.
Then BSQ's mounting kit is $20.

i got a huge deal on a ST front sway bar... i haven't out it on yet... the bushing n bar for 75. can n e one tell me if the ST bar is any good. i was gonna go for an ITR but i couldn't pass up the ST.

I used the Beaks mounting kit with Energy Suspension 22mm bushing/brackets and have no complaints.

Well if you guys saying ST are referring to Suspension Techniques. Then I have that bar for my 95 GSR. One thing if you have no idea how to work on cars and fabricate htings a little then dont buy it and expect to install yourself. You have the cut down the ABS sensor brackets to make it fit. It comes with end links the mount to brackets you have to bolt to the bottom of the shocks. which is a better setup than stock of course but kinda a pain. Other than that it is a good bar. Just take time and read the instructions over and over till you understand them completly. I started before I understood completly. But if its a good deal then buy it. I like mine. If you want a pic I might beable to get one.
