I was driving today and barley hit vtec and my check engine light come on. It's never done this before and it kept running fine. I got home and jumped the ecu to look at the code and it just kept flashing the same. Never braked just kept blinking about every 4 sec. I need help Thanks

 

Count the blinks to know what it is throwing.

you can also go to your local auto parts store, i.e. advance auto or autozone, and they'll read your codes for free.

 

I tried to count the light but it just keeps fishing like I said. It comes in for like 2 sec then goes off for like 4 and just keeps going at the same pace. I don't know if it's cause it's chipped or what

 

Count them!!!! It's a pattern. Long blinks and short ones. Don't make it hard. Either that or post a video.

I will have to just post s video cause there isn't any sort ones and the pattern never changes. I have read a code like this before this one just keeps doing the same thing.

The code/s will repeat over and over with a long pause between them. Count the long and short blinks that comes with very short pauses. You may have multiple codes and may not see the pattern at once.
