so out of the blue my car threw the code and only this code p1361 (TDC senor) it wont rev past 3k rpm. I swaped distributors to see if that would fix it and same problem. reset the ecu idk how many times and it still comes up, nothings is wet and all disi, plug, and plug wires are good....wtf could it be?! anyone run into this before?! 4cyl by the way lol

 

There's your problem, you haven't fixed it yet.
Crank sensor on '96 up Accords is down on the crank, not in the distributor, follow the wire going down to the snout of the engine.

 

Top Dead Center Sensor is the same as crank sensor? The crank sensor is located behind the crank pulley correct? This all started when i went to go power wash my engine bay (which i have done thousands of times).....not directly getting any of the electrical stuff wet. There was no CEL until after i power washed it, so it would rev up fine and would run great before i power washed it. As soon as i started it up, the CEL light was on throwing the code i mentioned earlier. It started right up but there was water in the distributor so i cleaned that out....
