i wondered the same.....but last year i did this exact same thing with Sports Illustrated and now i get it for free..... hopefully this works as well

a lot of free stuff at http://www.slickdeals.net the 2 yr was on it and rolling stone now

Someone had a pretty good explanation when this was posted in member's. They said that magazines really don't make money of subscriptions, they get the green from advertising. So more circulation = raise ad rates. Best way to boost circulation? Give the rag away.

crazy off topic members corner posts.. in addition to it being a zombie.. lol..

but yeah, i signed up and have gotten 3 issues so far.. it's not really a very good magazine(Maxim for one, is MUCH better).. but the ladies in it are usually pretty hot at least..
