I have a 94 civic ex, power windows. Somehow my window got stuck or something and when i pressed upon the window button the damn window shattered. It has always had a problem being off track, But anyway i need to get a new one and learn how to replace it now.

I'm sure a junk yard would have one. But i also would need to remove it as well. I know how to take my door panels off and remove the motor and that stuff but not how to actually replace a window. There is a metal bar that is now laying at the bottom of my door that im pretty sure used to be apart of the window system.

It doesn't look like it was broken off or anything just fell down when the window shattered i guess. Are there any tutorials out there? I searched my self on google and youtube for a little while with no luck.

 

Too easy. Take your door panel off (doesn't sound like you did this yet) and you can see all the bolts that hold everything in place.

 

Just the glass super easy as grumble said remove door panel and there are 2 10mm bolts that hold the glass to the wind regulator (it moves the window up and down) remove the 2 bolt and remove broken glass. Take new glass and slide it down into the door, align on tracks and replace the 2 bolts and door panel. Done.

 

^ well said. It is very easy to replace the glass. getting it into track can be a small pain sometimes.

Be careful not to slip and drop the glass or else it will hit the bottom of the door and it WILL shatter.
