I have a 1990 accord with low mileage that was making the same noise. I had replaced the the front drive shafts 9 months before and wondered about the lower ball joint. The lower ball joint broke while I was driving it. Luckily I was at a stop sign. Im now replacing upper and lower control arms and ball joints and inner and outer tie rods just to be safe. I dont know if this helps.

 

remember to grease thoroughly the sway link bushings where the rubber meets each other
