Well, so there are Black Recaros up for trade for USDM ITR seats.

What would be a decent amount of money to add to this trade? Anyone with experience with both of these seats. please respond.

I know someone who has traded 1000 dollars and usdm itr seats for jdm itr seats.

 

If the condition of the black recaros is MINT, then $800-1000 on top of ITR seats.

 

ITs not even worth 1000 PLUS stock seats, you mine as well get 1 carbon seat for that. Stock seats are probably worth like 500 to 700 anyways.

they were pretty good when i got them. But you gotta figure i paid 600 for my itr seats and then 1000 more for the recaros, so that's $1600. Back when I got them recaros were going for a lot more than they are now. Oh well.

 

bah click my sig, u can get red stiched recaro srd's for $450.

YOu can special order SRD's red stictched but they don't have the ITR material on the bolsters.

I bet the guy would take about $800-$900 plus trade. Offer him something and see where he goes.

 

I also paid $1k for black JDM recaros, including my stock ITR seats as trade.

What do you mean not deeply bolstered ?

 

Check your facts please. I sat in both seats on Sunday and they are VERY similar. Bolstering is identical and the JDM Recaros seem smaller and more snug. Also, the seat bottom on the JDM Recaros appeared shorter but I did not measure.

 

SRD's look better in person then they do from those photos.
a tad wider then jdm recaros though.

for the price.. stick with oe or else get red ones

 

i know someone that did that it was 700 and the front and rear usdm for the recaros. they were friends tho so the probly gave each other a break

 

the special polster materila is called "Alcantara" it is a kind of leather, but not getting hot or cold and you can clean it like leather, just with an wet cloth...when something gets dirty
