Hey sorta stumped right now, make a long story short
car ran before winter, stored it for winter, i take it out and immediatly get a Error code 21 (vtec spool valve) plus car wasnt even really running.. sounded like a truck?
also i did check the solenoid cleaned it out and it clicks when i apply 12v to the wire.
anyways i look by the ecu notice a purple wire just hanging there.. checked all the harness everything looked good a8..b5 etc, followed the purple wire thru the firewall to see it splice into two black wires.. (first thought was grounds)

as you can see it looks like one gets grounded.. but im not sure if the otherone is grounded or not.. also im pretty much a noob at wiring.. i get the basics.. but idk why my ecu is giving me this error and makes the car undrivable..
