Hello everyone i think ill use this as an intro/ information thread.

Im adam and i just bought a 1997 honda accord ex, auto, for $500 with about 160k miles on it. This is my first honda, im more of a euro fan having own a couple mercedes and vw before this. But i just had my daily driver blow up on me and had a family member offered this car to me, and i really need somthing to get back and forth in.

Alright now for some questions, and knowing these kind of forums ill get told to use the search bar, but i was never a fan of that. Now my first question is does anyone know of a good handbook for these car such as a bentley, haynes, or chilton? Second i need to know of a good parts website for OEM or close to OEM parts for cheap. Third what are the known problems with these cars?

You do realize that practically EVERY forum is set up the same way? Important announcements and threads are pinned to the top of each section so that new (and existing) users will see them first before repeating the same Questions that have been Asked/answered so Frequently that they were all put in the Frequently Asked Questions thread.

I know VWVortex is no different and I'm sure any Mercedes forum is the same too.
