lighting need advice

Default lighting need advice

just ordered a jdm front end conversion for my dc4. looking for an HID set up for it. im only going hid low with halogen highs, now im wondering do i run the 35w or 55w? the more light output the better none the less i know hids run cooler then halogens but i dont need to fry or melt anything

Don't be that ******* who runs RHD headlamps in a LHD country, blinding oncoming traffic. On top of that, don't be that ******* who uses a HID kit in halogen optics, blinding people, having excessive hotspots, and reducing your night vision.

To avoid being that *******, you need to retrofit. Once you do that, you don't need a kit, and can just run the 35W HID capsules and ballasts that came with the retrofit donor.
