coolant leak issue...

Default coolant leak issue...

ok i drive my car and i have no issues with temp or leaks. it only leaks a few hours after i let it cool down. i cant really see the leak yet but the puddle is pretty big under the car

my friend said it might be a freeze plug but i dunno...

93 civic si

could be a freeze plug. Could be many things. Gonna have to crawl under and look. Or even see if anything visible from the top

Or buy some dye if you can't inspect it properly.

First start off by looking at the radiator hose if they have moisture. Look at where the puddle is and look directly above it in motor and try to see if you spot where it comes from

Also have can your friend even give you such bad advice like freeze plugs if you haven't even checked hoses or radiator.

check hoses and clamps on all hoses involved with coolant, also dont forget if your waterpump is going bad there are weep holes,which will weep coolant.

Jack up the car and crawl under on your back with a flashlight and look for green sticky stuff dripping. Use jackstands unless you want to die.
