Stretching Steering Wheel?
Hey guys, i've got a 95' Honda Civic LX, roughly 250K miles and i've already replaced my CV Axles and i JUST replaced my Rack & Pinion. When i went to do a test drive to see if it was driveable to go and get my wheels aligned, i noticed this really weird "streching" noise coming from what sounded like my steering wheel when i made extremely hard turns, not regular turns, like if i was doing a u-turn. I have no idea what it could be
any ideas/help would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like something is binding. Couldn't really tell you exactly what. Might also want to have someone under the hood and under the dash to see if there is any issue there when this happens and possibly pinpoint it. Start inspecting your work. As I have yet to have to make repairs to a steering rack this might be indicative of a new install? Just guessing.
