Default B18C5 oil squirting everywhere

Hey guys,

So I'm a huge a** idiot. I was doing an oil change and installing a short shifter on my car (em1 with itr motor). Everything went smoothly except for when I had to get my car off the jack stands. I got the driver side down but well doing the passenger side the car slipped off the jack and fell about 4-6 inches. Within seconds the floor was filled with oil and when I started the car oil was pouring out near the intake manifold and it's covered pretty much the whole engine bay. Any suggestions as to what this could be? I checked for cracks or anything everywhere and couldn't find anything. Thanks for the help.

Yes the filter, drain bolt, cap and dipstick are all on and secured. The pan does not look damaged to me. Oil is pooled on top of the intake runners

What kind of oil filter? The oil filter gasket can sometimes get left behind on the oil cooler from using the cheaper oil filters. So that would almost be as bad as not having a filter on the engine, because that first gasket would be crush under the filter and leave gaps all around it. That would be the first place I would look at.

Yes always check for the oil filter seal but you sail oil poured out before you started the car make sure you didnt bend or kink the pan might be coming where the pan meets the block check all the pan bolts the only other thing i can think of is the oil sending unit on the back of the block under the intake manifold

Clean it up. Put oil back in it. Unplug distributor and turn the engine over. Look for for your leak.
