Default 92 95 civic HOOD dampers

anyone know of any hood lift supports/dampers that can be fitted on a 92 95 civic 2/3dr?

I have searched and just didn't come up with a whole lot...any info is appreciated. i just figured someone would have done this before and could maybe give me a few pointers on where to buy them from.

They aren't direct fit. They were universal. It was just one of those rare instances that they actually worked.

Or you can go this route. Custom.

Any of those universal set ups. Even the branded ones are glorified universal hood dampers.
Wondering why you seem to be having such a hard time sourcing these.

At $50/pair I'm not worrying about buying singles. Pics will have to wait until tomorrow as I'm stuck in class for another 5 hours.

I've had these on for nearly 5 years now without issue and on a CF hood.

Forgot I promised t opost thes.
Ebay universal hood dampers for

IMO this is probably the most universal part of the strut. Fitment is **** but it's been holding like that for quite a few years without shifting or loosening up.

BTW. Anyone know hot o get foam tape off w/o peeling the paint off with it?

goo gone will help but adhesive remover is best. what was stuck to your shock tower with double sided tape/foam?

BTW, post more pics of the coupe!

I am looking into getting the hood struts within the week. How well does they hold the hood up when the wind is blowing?

Crappy HID plug-n-play kit.
They are strong yet they don't throw the hood open when you need it open. I never have to worry about the hood falling on my head no matter what the weather.
