start of by inspecting everything of the suspected area, making sure all pulleys are tight, belts, axles. check anything you can that spins for play. its happening in my car and seems pretty common is the input shaft bearings in the transmission going bad. hopefully thats not your case.

the radiator hoses go from the radiator to the head and thermostat. are you thinking a/c condensor? is there a/c in your car? perhaps the a/c clutch bearings are worn. check the a/c pulley for play. i know mine came with a/c.

X2, as well as what ej7attack mentioned. Try disconnecting that A/C belt (assuming you have A/C). If the car is manual, does the noise go away when the clutch is depressed?
