Default ls vtec build

Hi guys. I've been doing this new engine build.
New b18a1 from factory never ran. Got a good deal for $400.
Golden eagle ls vtec kit with cometic gasket
Arp rod & head studs
Crower head package, flat valves, dual valve springs, titanium retainers,stage2 cams advertised duration int 306° exh 300° Duration@ .050": int 254° exh 248° ( bnib for $650 dude needed money it retails$1200)
I am debating on which pistons to use ctr or pr3?
Also can I use my stock bearings since its new or should I get some vtec ones? I read this is recomended, acl? Is it possible to run this relliably without ballancing the bottom end. I already planned on doing so just wondering if anybody had good results without ballancing. Rods will be shotpeened. How much is the balancing gonna cost on average?
This is my 2nd motor build so I appreciate the help guys thanx.

Ok wow. I don't see how this is so crazy. Taking a brand new bottom end and building it for lsv. My block is brand new but this does not mean take a b16 head and slap it on so yes I am building it.

Why would you put different bearings in a new engine?

Sell that engine and find yourself one that needs to be rebuilt. Use left over money to buy parts.

Call a machine shop and ask how much they charge. Add them together and divide by how many places you called. There's your average.

Thanx for the machine shop help. I am building this motor for lsv. Its a great start new block. The bearing thing is a thought because they use different materials in the bearings for vtec engines I was told but this is why I am concerned. I understand selling the block because its new and I got a good deal so ide make money but I'm happy with having it besides I can make money on the new **** I don't use such as oil pump. I don't need to spend so much on machine work this way just balancing rotating assembly and rods resized for arp bolts and shaved for pr3 pistons. I wouldn't do that if it weren't needed.
