I have a 97 ek hatch with16x7 retracks I'm trying to fit 225/50/16 I'm looking for a wide tire look I guess you could say some what of a auto cross look. Would I be ok with this size or is this just something to big that won't work... The only problem is I already bought the tires. If anyone has any input or info pics I would really appreciate it... I've seen cars with this kind of stance but I wasn't sure if I went to big I need help
First off, you don't have an EK. Let's just get that out of the way now. You have an EJ6.
It's going to look 4x4 status. Those tires are WAY too big. Do you even understand how upsizing tires works? 205/45R16 would be the correct plus size, but if you want to go 225, it would be 225/35R16. You will scrub. You will rub. You won't be able to turn properly.
