Which clutch/flywheel to get?
ok i know this topic has ben beaten to death in this forum, i've searched and searched but i still haven't been able to make up my mind. I'm putting a 97 itr motor in my car and i'm going to do the clutch while it's still out of the car. I'm stuck between:
1. toda clutch kit, kinda pricey but it does come balanced.
2. cusco, i'll probably forget it once one of you points out the price
3. ACT extreme pressure plate with organic full face disk, i can get them for wholesale
4. any other suggestions?
i would get either a toda or a jun flywheel with the later 2
anyone who has any of these please let me know your thoughts on them, strength, pedal pressure, problems any input would be very appreciated. thanks in advance everyone.

The exedy organic clutches are $265 shipped from http://www.clutchcityonline.com and from what I read they can support up to 300hp.
ACT is the Riceboy clutch.... Maybe it'll help you run from some cops....

anyone know what the Cusco set-up goes for? i forgot to mention i'm a jdm *****
how much stronger is the exedy than stock? i dont want to have to do my clutch again anytime soon, i don't mind having a hard pedal as long as the clutch itself is pretty streetable and strong.

Why don't you try the Tilton race clutch/flywheel and let us know how it works for you? BTW, flywheel is 6.1lb chromoly.

ok it looks like i'll definitly be getting the toda flywheel and clutch is still up in the air between a toda and the exedy. no one knows anything about the cusco super single clutch kit?
cusco super single is in the 1k range, and that's kinda overkill for R when it can hold up to 400ps!!! but its a hella nice unit and u probably wont have to change ur clutch again for a LONG time
they also sell the clutch/pp by itself also.
personally, i've been using ITR disc + clutchnet stage 2 PP and it holds fine for me

the cusco super single will break your leg to drive in the city. Not streetable unless you really like a clutch that truly is the epitome of an on/off switch.
RA who's a wuss and uses a Spoon PP and ACT S-organic disc....
