I have a DAC (DC Sports) intake and I don't know will the comptech icebox fit on it. It has the cold air extension right now, bit I am still paranoid about hydrolocking. Anyone know the dimensions of the comptech intake pipe or the foam filter. My DAC intake is like 3" in diameter.

 

I believe that only the Comptech short ram intake will fit an Icebox w'o modifications. I think that you'll have to cut your intake to fit the Icebox. Alternatively, the stock intake arm will fit the icebox.

 

I think the intake pipe is ok. I'm wondering if you can just get the filter from Comptech.

 

Does anyone know if Acura sells separate Comptech parts? Like bolts or screws from its kits. Or do you have to buy the whole thing?

 

you could probably get away with using the DAC intake but you have to use the k&n e-2427 filter because the k&n has a bend to meet the intake. I don't know if the comptech filter has a bend or not. If it does not then get the k&n b/c you will have less fitment issues.
