Default new to HT

hello everyone I am new to Honda tech but not the forums well about me I currently drive a 94 integra DB7 as my dd but I picked up a 93 civic EJ1 about a week ago as a project and so far its been fun working on it well here is a couple pics of my cars

94 DB7



here is my EJ1 project

Started tear down

Got interior out


Hood,fenders,bumpers, and side skirts off

Vacuumed it out

My ghetto jackstands

Done for the night all I have to do is get the motor mounts out and then the motor is out


Got the dash out

Got brake booster and almost have harness out

Me and my brother's projects

Cut panel out

Got new panel just have to weld it in

getting some work done

I have a spare b18 and I am planning on doing an all motor N/A build and would like to build a 11:1 comp motor

Which one C1,C5 or a non vtec one then throw a vtec head on (LSV) ?

'92 - '95 Sedan Civic sedan rear doors have the correct compound curve to make the lower part of those quarter panels, it's a lot easier than trying to make the curve with a piece of sheet metal. You can buy the wheel arches pretty cheap too, but you'll have to use hatchback ones and fabricate the rear part where it meets up with the bumper.

This is my hatchback, the lower part of the quarter is a rear door as I mentioned earlier, I wish I had some pics before the bodyfill and primer to illustrate better.

the one panel I cut out was off a 94 sedan it was my brother extra door and we walked by it and said that's perfect so that is what we used but thanks for the other info
