my 94 accord ex runs great but shuts off when I break then its starts right up and runs great but when I stop again its turns off. Please help !!!

 

• Fuel pressure regulator
• EGR - dirty/inoperable
• Idle air control valve (IACV) dirty stuck open/in operable.

So do your RPMs gradually drop down as you are stopping and then once you stop, they continue to drop down below 500rpm and the engine stalls?

 

Yes thats exactly what happens. I changed the fuel regulator and the EGR but still stalls. I will change the IACV tommorow hopefully that will do the trick. Thanks for your help. I will keep you posted.

 

First take the two iacv bolts off and look at the metal filter piece. It could just be dirty. If so, shoot it with some carb cleaner til its shiny again.
